A Busy Start to the Year at Twisted Tree Brewery

The year has kicked off at full pace here at the brewery — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

After a fantastic (and very busy!) December, January has been all about resetting, refining, and pushing forward. We’ve been servicing and upgrading equipment, restocking the brewery, and making sure everything is primed for another big year ahead.

A Bigger Bar & More Cask Beer

One of the biggest changes you’ll notice is our extended bar area. We’ve made it larger to improve flow on open weekends — and we’ve installed two new hand-pull pumps, allowing us to expand our cask beer offering even further.

For those who love traditional cask ale, this means more choice and more Twisted Tree fresh from the pump.

Introducing Our First Cider – Orchard Screw

We’re also excited to announce the launch of our very first cider: Orchard Screw — a cloudy farmhouse cider with plenty of character. It’s crisp, refreshing, and a brilliant addition to the range as we head towards the warmer months.

The response so far has been fantastic, and we’re looking forward to pouring plenty more of it over the coming year.

Midnight Oak Now in Cans & Bottles

Our porter Midnight Oak proved such a hit on cask in local pubs that we knew it deserved a wider release. It’s now available in both cans and bottles, so you can enjoy it at home as well as in the bar.

Rich, smooth, and packed with roasted character — it’s a beer we’re incredibly proud of.

Expanding into Keg

Behind the scenes, we’ve also invested further in keg filling equipment. As a result, our keg beers are now starting to appear in more venues — something we’ve been working towards for a while.

It’s a big step forward for us and means more people can find Twisted Tree on tap beyond the brewery.

Looking Ahead

There’s plenty more in the pipeline for this year. We’ve already listed all our open weekend dates on the website, so make sure you check them out and get them in the diary.

Thanks, as always, for your continued support — it’s shaping up to be another exciting year at Twisted Tree.
